The Project Challenge: Implementing Zoho CRM
Codarus sought assistance from RFDM in establishing a stronger online presence, as well as improving the tracking of sales rep performance. Codarus had been experiencing difficulty in tracking sales performance against goals, and had hitherto been carrying out tracking tasks manually through the use of multiple spreadsheets. Having to perform tracking tasks manually was laborious, using up time that could be spent more effectively towards other business objectives. After implementing a Zoho CRM setup and rollout, the team at Codarus needed to customize their CRM environment in order to promote streamlined data tracking and allow goals to be monitored more easily.
Zoho CRM and Zoho Analytics Customization
The chief engagement for the team at RFDM was the customization of the Zoho CRM environment. RFDM were able to modify the instance to allow for goal data to be entered and tracked for each of Codarus’ vendors. This involved implementing functionality to create custom query tables, reports, and dashboard within Zoho Analytics. The principal benefit to this solution was the auto-population of the goal data within tracking dashboards, removing the need for the information to be manually reconciled. The operational outcome of this process was the ability of administrators to establish and monitor sales goals for reps with minimal manual input required. Administrators could now define annual sales goals for individual vendors and view the progress of sales reps towards achieving these targets all within Zoho CRM, removing the need to track changes across multiple spreadsheets and reducing data sprawl.
Outcomes
The RFDM team were able to free up valuable labor resources for Codarus by automating time-consuming and inefficient manual data-tracking processes, allowing the reallocation of staff time towards more valuable business objectives. The consolidation and streamlining of data and change monitoring works to reduce staff churn and promotes smooth and efficient business operation.
